Classic Masters of the Universe MOTU Style Sculpt by TheClawTheySay
Classic Masters of the Universe MOTU Style Sculpt
I'm attempting to break my habit of always adding bumps and small details when sculpting (Doodling in 3D as it were) and decided to do a Figure in an 80's Masters of the Universe figure style.

Again, Sculpted in Blender, Painted in Sculptris, Lit, Posed & Rendered in Blender.

El Peeky BoneHead
I'm trying to break my habit of making all my Blender 3D sculpts full of small, fussy, wiggly grooves and ridges and improve my crude flat surface technique.

Also, I tried to improve my Subtle texture & Specular painting skills in Sculptris.

Then, right back into Blender for Shadowy Lighting that makes it look better than it is :D
Bugish by TheClawTheySay
First attempt modelling in Blender, Texture & UV Painting in Sculptris and then lighting & Rendering in Blender.
Krangishly 3D Sculpt in Blender! by TheClawTheySay
Krangishly 3D Sculpt in Blender!
After spending many, many, many hours in Sculptris I got to thinking "Now that I'm getting the hang of 3D Scultping, maybe it's time to try and make sense of Blender's 3D Sculpting?"
Turns out, I really, really, really like it.

Especially since I can copy / edit / duplicate / light the model while sculpting, I don't have to close the door on one phase.

BUT!  So far I think Sculptris's texture painting is way better.  Scultpris Texture painting has a  much faster workflow & better UI, so I think I'd use Blender's Texture Painting only to add a few more layers in special cases, like Specular Painting.
Scultpris #9? Updated Model from 2014! by TheClawTheySay
Scultpris #9? Updated Model from 2014!
For my latest attempt with Sculptris, I dug out an old Minotaur Model I made in Blender back in 2014 and went to town adding glorious evil.

I focused mostly on the Gums and Horn scultping as well as getting better at using the Heightmask Cavity settings to shade the depths darker and give a faux finishing lightening to raised parts.

Also trying to get the Specular right so the wet things - and just the wet things - look wet.

Lit & Rendered in Blender

As a child, I was very fortunate for my Mom to bring me to the Movie Rental store she worked at often, so I spent hours absorbing all the Movie Boxes, their stories and their art. Pair that with my favorite toys being Lego, Transformers, He-Man and GI Joe and when I wasn't drawing I was rocking the Atari 2600 with Crystal Castles, 25 years later, I am a Visual Artist.
